
Dear Students,
We are excited to invite you to join our 6-week therapy group, designed to help you develop essential coping skills for managing stress, emotions, and everyday challenges. Each week, we will focus on a different topic, providing you with practical tools to navigate life with confidence.
Every Monday for 6 weeks together, we will:
- Build mindfulness and emotional awareness
- Challenge unhelpful thought patterns
- Improve anger management and emotional regulation
- Develop effective strategies for relaxation and sleep
Week 1: Mindfulness (January 13, 2025 - 3 pm) Learn how to stay present and reduce anxiety by practicing mindfulness techniques.
Week 2: Challenging Thoughts (January 20, 2025 - 3 pm) Identify and reframe negative thought patterns that contribute to stress and emotional distress.
Week 3: Managing Anger (January 27, 2025 - 3 pm) Understand the root causes of anger and discover strategies for controlling and expressing it healthily.
Week 4: Managing Distress (February 3, 2025 - 3 pm) Develop skills for managing overwhelming emotions and finding balance during difficult times.
Week 5: Relaxation (February 10, 2025 - 3 pm) Explore relaxation techniques to reduce stress, improve well-being, and enhance mental clarity.
Week 6: Sleep Hygiene (February 17, 2025 - 3 pm) Learn how to establish healthy sleep habits that support your overall health and emotional resilience.
