It is smarter to prevent than to treat
2025-05-08 14:14
Dear NU Community,
Vaccination remains
one of the most effective ways among the public health efforts to prevent some diseases
and especially their serious complications.
You can view the
National Immunization Calendar in Kazakhstan
that includes the prevention for the following diseases:
-Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR)
-Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis (DTaP/TD)
-Tuberculosis (BCG)
-Polio (IPV/OPV)
-Hepatitis B and Hepatitis A
-Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
-Influenza (seasonal)
We encourage all NU community members to
adhere to the prevention
and ensure that your health is protected from the vaccine preventable diseases:
Review your vaccination records;
Consult your healthcare provider or local PHC center (polyclinic);
Ensure that you and your loved one have the vaccine available to protect your health.
Vaccination is a simple step that helps protect you and those around you. Don’t delay it, and
visit the healthcare professionals today
if required.
Stay healthy and safe,
